Our Story
We are Erik and Elena van der Meer.
In 2026, we embarked on a new adventure in the Dordogne. Rather spontaneously, we decided to change our lives and start something new — something we had always dreamed of.
Erik grew up in a family of flower growers and later built a successful business in motorhome and trailer storage. Yet the desire to begin a new chapter never faded.
Elena, born in Ukraine, worked in administration and later in care services in the Netherlands. Her passion lies in wellness, relaxing massage, aromatherapy, and foot care.
Together, we are creating a place of peace, warmth, and genuine attention — where guests feel welcome and at home.
Accommodation
Set on a spacious, lush green property, D'Ängeur offers three private holiday cottages:
- Lisianthus — Maison Élégante Cottage for 4 guests
- Dahlia — Signature House Cottage for 2–5 guests
- Jacinthe — Maison de Lumière Spacious cottage for 8–10 guests
Each cottage has its own terrace — perfect for a leisurely breakfast outdoors or watching the sunset with a glass of wine.
At the heart of the property sits a large swimming pool with a lounge area, ideal for hot summer days and evening swims.

In addition to the cottages, guests can enjoy 5 stylish rooms for 2–4 persons, available individually or as a full group booking.
